Mr. Gadsby's ice well was built over 200 years ago and had some restoration work done in 1976. It is now time to improve on that pre-Bicentennial work. Initial studies about what needs to be done and how the visitor's experience could be improved are currently underway. We expect to have a plan of work shortly. Although we do not yet know exactly how much the renovations will cost, we do know that we will have to raise significant funds to support the Ice Well project. |

| We have started to dedicate funds from some of Gadsby's Tavern Museum Society events to this major program. Many more fun events are in the offing.
